PESCA Environnement came into being in 1991, borne of the desire and determination of a group of young professionals who wanted to develop new areas of expertise so that people would be able to enjoy high quality specialised services in their own backyards.

Why PESCA?

The word PESCA means fishing in both Spanish and Italian. It clearly reflects the company’s first commissions; in its early days, the firm focussed on managing salmon populations for sport fishing associations on the Gaspé Peninsula.

Since then, PESCA Environnement has diversified its activities, although the common ground on which all its commissions stand continues to be the desire to promote the resources available in the community in a manner that fully respects the territory’s integrity so that future generations will also be able to enjoy its benefits.

Since its foundation, PESCA Environnement has completed over 3,000 commissions and built a range of specialised environmental services by developing an exacting methodology, hiring qualified staff, innovating and – first and foremost – by listening to its clients.
